We’re all familiar with car washing, but while the body gets clean, the wheels often aren’t!

Visibly, some stains remain on wheels after washing—stains you can’t scrape off. Auto detailing shops offer wheel cleaning, but it’s not free. For savings, doing it yourself is better.

We mentioned wheel cleaning before. Teacher Che once asked how I’d clean wheels—I said “with water!” He then asked if I’d use toilet bowl cleaner, leaving me stunned.
Let’s get back. The water-resistant stains are iron filings from brake friction plus road dirt, which stick fast over time.
Online, people suggest toilet bowl cleaner, kitchen cleaner, or iron filth remover. Below is how well they work.

How to clean? Spray/sprinkle cleaner on wheels, wait minutes, then wipe/rinse. Use a toothbrush for tough spots.
1. Toilet Bowl Cleaner (Worst): Works for toilets but not wheels—scrubbing does little.
2. Kitchen Cleaner (Good): Removes iron filings but not asphalt.
3. Iron Filth Remover (Best): Dissolves iron-based stains. Rinse after minutes for like-new wheels. It creates purple foam via chemical reaction.
